OK OK, so it hasn't officially come to an end, but i'm once again getting super busy with my life!!!It's only been a week and a half of break, without classes, but now its back to WORK, SCHOOL, and LSAT!
Soon, it will be WORK, SCHOOL, LSAT, and INTERNSHIP...=\ I guess I shouldn't complain though, since I LOVE my life busy...! Work hard, play hard!
So what's been going on lately?
Well work slowed down a little bit, but with the transition of new leadership, planning for fall, and getting ready to work at home while in RI - i've been pretty busy. I'm nervous about planning a whole retreat while I'm in RI. I'm sure it will be okay, but I anticipate the two weeks I have before the retreat will be chaotic.
In school news, I am happy to say I've completed my hardest semester successfully! Three A's! 93%, 99.5%, and 105%!!! =) I'm sooo happy all my hard work paid off in the end! The only class I'm worried about is my Law class in the Fall...supposively the hardest class in the program!
I'm taking two online classes for my program this summer, and in addition I'm studying for my LSATs! Grr...I'm never going to get rid of school!
Speaking of internships...getting ready (and getting nervous) about leaving to Rhode Island in one week! I realized I've never been away from my family for that long! Furthermore, Dan and I have never been more than two weeks without seeing each other! =\ It will definitely be a different experience for me...needless to say, I'm happy an H & M will gladly welcome me and my spare time in Providence! =P
So lately I've been trying to hang out more with friends and family before i leave...It's been a lot of fun, but also time consuming...=\ so much to do, so little time.
Great news! I've been chosen to Intern in the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life for the Fall and Spring semester! =) I'm excited because its been different not being as active in the Greek community this past year. Exciting and stressful - I will be the Hazing Prevention and Education Advisor, the Order of Omega Advisor, and the Advisor Recruitment and Education Advisor...3 jobs, 1 me! Hopefully I can do it!
On top of that, I've also expressed interest in getting involved in the Multicultural Community. I discussed this with the office and I might be a Liasion/Advisor to the Asian American community orgs on campus =)
I know i often wish Grad school was over, however, sometimes I wish I had more time to do all the things I wanna do! Now I'm forced to combine it all in one year...hope I don't burn out =(
I was also planning on running for Central Council, our national board for my sorority. I dont know if I can anymore =( looking at my fall schedule, it seems as though I'll be busy everyday/everynight...I'm trying to weigh out my options and assess my capabilities.
Dont you feel stressed just reading this? i do! I need to stop now...lol
In other, more exiting news...Dan and I had our 1 year/9 month anniversary two days ago! I love him soooo much! Even if he makes me fatter by feeding me good food everyday! =)
Eventful week with him! Watched Star Trek, went shopping, ate at Maggiano's one day and Cheesecake the next =) yummy! Did a lot with our puppy, since we wont see him for the next 3 months =( I <3>
Anyway, gotta finish up hw! Then...Yay for the weekend! Goin out with the girls, Laila's graduation!! wooo =)
